Sunday Morning for the whole Team: “Participants, Mentors, Volunteers”. Breakfast was at 7.50 am after which most of the Participants had service at the Evangelical Methodist Church of Christ, Abura, a suburb of Cape Coast. During Church service Participants present, together with Team Leaders Sampson and Paa Kwesi ministered a song to the whole congregation. They also used the opportunity to invite the whole congregation to the Grand Finale of Recycle Up! Ghana Cape Coast 2015.
The main activity for the day was Community Exploration. Community Exploration was in Partnership with ANOPA PROJECT, an NGO that uses games and sports to educate the youth. Participants and their mentors were put in groups. Together with Participants and Mentors, members of the ANOPA PROJECT formed groups to embark on the community exploration. Each group explored a part of the community and had productive discussions with the community members. Participants asked questions about how these homes go about waste management. The participants also suggested better ways that they could manage their waste.
