Cape Coast

The day began with Prayers and participants got ready for the day. Breakfast was at 7.49 am. Right after breakfast, Participants went to the Lecture theatre for an external lecture by Mr Senyo Agbeblewu on the Topic: “My Idea, My Opportunity, My success” He encouraged participants not to give up on their dreams and also advised them to take opportunities where available.

There was then another session with Francis and Tobi where Participants got to learn about the classification of plastics, types of plastic and the three management practices: “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”. Participants were later put into groups where they further discussed ways to reduce and reuse waste. Participants then went for lunch at 1:38 pm.

Mr. Paul Oppon of K.E.E.A then took over the third session at 2.46 pm where he spoke about waste management. He explained the value chain of waste management to Participants. The Participants had their supper at 6.12 pm which was followed by Reflection Time with Norinda and Shepherd.

Later in the evening at around 7.23 pm, Fred walked participants through good leadership skills and how to go about positive change. Participants then watched a short movie. Participants and the team closed activities for the day at 10.14 pm.

KUMASI
In kumasi the day started with an early morning football match and Games. Breakfast was ready at 7:00 and then participants move to lecture Hall. The participants were taken through a Leadership session by Goodlet Owusu Ansah, A mentor. Participants took a break for lunch.

After lunch, Representatives from Farmerline, A farming Call and solution centre, took the participants through an interactive and exciting entrepreneurship session. In the evening a debate on plastic waste was organised for the participants. Here are the pictures of what happened in kumasi.
