In Cape Coast

The day started very early with breakfast for all Paricipants.  Some Volunteers from the Anopa Project joined the Recycle Up! Ghana Team in Cape Coast to teach participants mainly about how to re-use plastics. Participants gained knowledge about how to re-use plastics for various objects. Each Participant thought about various means to  re-use plastics and most of them came out with Brilliant Ideas. The whole team together with Volunteers from Anopa took lunch at at 12.38 pm.

After lunch, Participants were divided into 4 different groups, and each group was given a mentor. The Mentors were: Eunice, Richard, Fred and Francis. These teams were the teams the participants were going to work in for the remainder of the camp. In order to know each other very well and to work effectively in groups, Participants in groups, led by their mentors, did a lot of team building exercises. At 5.49 pm, all groups converged at the Cafteria and took supper. Fred then had reflection with the whole team after which Participants watched a movie and then went to bed.
